Maturing Beyond a Survivor’s Mentality

When we are born again, Jesus not only sets us free from a victim’s mentality but as the Holy Spirit renews our minds, we also become free from having a “survivor’s mentality”. A survivor’s mentality believes that by our own ability we can overcome. The Bible teaches that by faith alone in Jesus Christ we can surrender our sin and stop depending upon self. Through the grace of God, we become more than conquerors.
